Kanako Mizuto
Description:
Beautiful dances played on Eizo Hori's Tuscan model. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the many people who have supported and encouraged us in the production of the Dangleveil CD. The reason why I chose this music is because I was fascinated by the spirit of Paris and the fragrant melody of the music. I have also been studying French for many years, and every time I play Danglebert's music, I am reminded that it sounds just like French. I hope that this music will take you back to the time of the Sun King, when culture flourished, and that you will experience the sound space of that time. <Kanako Mizuto began piano lessons at the age of four. In junior high school, she was fascinated by the sound of the harpsichord and began to study it. She graduated from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music with a degree in harpsichord (now the Department of Ancient Instrumental Music). At the university, he was a member of the "Bach Cantata Club" led by Michio Kobayashi and played the bass continuo. In 2003, she gave a solo recital at the Omi Gakudo, attended summer courses in Amilly and Strasbourg, France in 2005 and 2006, and as of 2018, is teaching harpsichord at home. He has studied harpsichord with Masaaki Suzuki, Hiro Hashimoto, Akiko Kuwagata, Kimiko Iye, Noel Speight, and Aline Zilbereisch; ensemble with the late Yoshiko Kojima and Kazuo Yukawa; and organ with Brian Ashley and Kimiko Iye.
