From death to life, from separation to unity, from enemies of God to coheirs with Christ. These are just a few of the ways Jesus’s death and resurrection changed the world, and they are also the central themes Paul wrote about in his letters to the believers gathered in Galatia and Ephesus. But Paul did not just point them to the truth, he challenged his fellow Christians to allow that truth to inform everything in their lives—to fully embrace their identity as children of God. In this six-week reading plan, we’ll explore what it means to belong in the kingdom of God, learning how to live with and love one another as imitators of Christ. I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died for nothing.
