The two extremely rare recordings by Valter Smetaki, a musician and instrument maker who had a great influence on the Tropicália and other psychedelic movements as well as Brazilian experimental music, will be reissued at the same time. This work was made in 1973 and was released with the cooperation of Caetano and Gil. A long, quiet daydream in which electronic sounds, humming, and water sounds are intertwined with a number of creative instruments, including a unique string instrument made from a gourd. The gatefold jacket, which includes a catalog of the instruments along with photographs, is reproduced as on the original, along with a booklet with newly added photographs and the latest remastering. Liner by Caetano Veloso. Limited edition of 500.Released in 1972 Nina Simone "Emergency Ward" on color vinyl, following her previous release "Here Comes The Sun" on RCA label The medley of "My Sweet Lord / Today Is a Killer" on side A was recorded on November 18, 1971 at an anti-war rally for returning Vietnam vets at Fort Dix. The B-side, "Poppies" by Lennie Bleecher and Jeremy Wind, and George Harrison's "Isn't It a Pity? was recorded at RCA Studios in New York City.
