A tasting set that introduces several classic styles of Chinese tea. The selection includes roasted and mineral-rich oolongs, a delicate white tea, and a traditional Yunnan black tea. Each tea represents a different region and processing style.
Dark Nectar Oolong (Shu Cha Liubao Tie Guanyin, Jinxuan)
A rich roasted oolong with notes of caramel, toasted nuts and warm sweetness.
Whispering Branch Oolong (Qingxin Ruan Zhi Wulong)
A lighter and more aromatic oolong with floral notes and a soft, smooth body.
Da Hong Pao
A classic Wuyi rock tea with mineral depth, roasted character and a long lingering finish.
Liping Bai Cha – White Tea
A gentle and refreshing tea with light sweetness, floral notes and a clean finish.
Dian Hong – Yunnan Black Tea
A smooth and comforting red tea with notes of cocoa, malt and dried fruit.
Tangbei Tie Guan Yin
A traditional style Tie Guan Yin with balanced roasting, floral aroma and a rounded texture.
Each tea is packed as a 7 g sample, suitable for one gongfu session.
The set also includes a classic Dehua porcelain gaiwan (150 ml) — the traditional brewing vessel used in Chinese tea culture. It allows you to brew the teas properly and experience multiple infusions.
Use 7 g tea per 100 ml water at 95°C.
First infusion 15–20 seconds, then gradually increase the steeping time with 10 sec.
This set is a simple way to experience several classic Chinese tea styles in one tasting. Instead of buying larger quantities of a single tea, you can explore different regions, cultivars and processing methods side by side.
It includes three different oolong styles (Tie Guan Yin, Wuyi rock tea and Qingxin oolong), together with white tea and Yunnan black tea, allowing you to compare oxidation levels and roasting techniques in a clear way.
The set is especially useful for:
Exploring Chinese tea styles
You taste how teas change from light and floral to roasted, mineral and rich.
Learning the differences between regions
From Fujian oolong traditions to Yunnan black tea and delicate white tea.
Finding your personal preference
Many people discover which style they enjoy most only after tasting several types next to each other.
Because each tea comes as a 7 g portion, it is ideal for a focused tasting session with a gaiwan or small teapot. One session with this set gives a surprisingly complete overview of Chinese tea.
