Yukihiro Takahashi's solo work in the early 1980s is the first in the "Yukihiro x Yukihiro Early 80s" reissue series. MURDERED BY THE MUSIC" is the second solo album by Yukihiro Takahashi (as he was known then), released on King Records in 1980 during the YMO boom. Based on the New Wave sound that was sweeping the world rock scene at the time, Takahashi added surf music, 2-tone ska, Motown sounds, and various other musical elements. T9 is a cover of a big hit by the Supremes. Participating musicians: Haruomi Hosono, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Kenji Omura, Makoto Ayukawa, Sheena, Meng Asada, Sandy, Makoto Kubota, Hajime Tachibana, Masakazu Togo, and others. This time, the album is reissued in SA-CD hybrid format, remastered by Yoshinori Sunahara. (Original release date: 1980)
