Sylvester Sylvester is a saxophonist, multi-instrumentalist, and producer who was discovered by Prince and emerged as a member of The New Power Generation, and has performed and collaborated with Stevie Wonder, Janelle Monaei, Dave Brubeck Quartet, and Quantic, among many other renowned musicians. Sylvester Onyezhiejka, a.k.a. Sly5thAve, is a saxophonist, multi-instrumentalist, and producer who has performed and collaborated with renowned musicians such as Janelle Monae, Dave Brubeck Quartet, and Quantic, among others. What It Is" is his sophomore album since his last album "The Invisible Man: An Orchestral Tribute to Dr. Dre" (2017), which was highly acclaimed by many, and incorporates not only his own musicality but also the various musical styles of his collaborators.The title track M3 "What It Is (feat. Scienze & Lexus)" crosses jazz, hip-hop, and soul, while Denitia, who also appears on Quantik's "Atlantic Oscillations" album, sings about the connections between people in the technological age over a house/disco beat. The album is full of highlights such as M4 "C-Side feat. Denitia," a song about the connection between people in the technological age, and M5 "Daddy Warbucks feat.
