Yoichi Tajiri ProfileAfter graduating from Toho Gakuen School of Music, Yoichi Tajiri went to Europe to study. He studied as the only disciple of Idil Billet. He has performed the complete piano sonatas of Mozart, Beethoven, and Schubert, as well as the complete piano works of Schumann and Brahms, in a series of recitals (ticles) for each composer, attracting international attention. In the genre of original solo arrangements of orchestral works, he has completed performances of the complete symphonies of Beethoven and Brahms. His repertoire also includes "Unfinished," "From the New World," "Pathetique," and many others. He has also arranged and performed piano concertos by Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Schumann, and Brahms for solo piano. In addition to these works, he has arranged many other works for solo piano, including operatic overtures, chamber music, and songs, and has incorporated them into his own programs. His creative and energetic activities have been highly acclaimed by the Steinway Hamburg headquarters, which awarded him the title of Steinway Artist.(2/2) King International
