FIX ZOLE 500 (Metronidazole) is an antibiotic designed for aquarium use, targeting gram-positive and certain gram-negative bacteria. It is effective in treating pathogenic bacteria associated with ornamental fish diseases, including Aeromonas, Pseudomonas genera, and mycobacterial group. It is used to treat conditions like "Hole-in-the-Head" and "Angel Problems" in Cichlid and Discus species. Dissolve one tablet per 20 gallons of water and repeat after 24 hours with a water change. The treatment should last between 5 to 10 days. If no improvement is seen within the first 5 days, stop using the medication. After treatment, a water change and charcoal filter can clear any residual yellow tint in the water. Keep this medication out of reach of children.  It is intended solely for aquarium use, specifically for ornamental fish and organisms, and not for those designated for human consumption. It should be stored at a controlled room temperature of 59°-86°F (15°-30°C).
