Stomahesive Stoma Powder protects weepy and denuded skin around the stoma. ConvaTec stoma powder helps keep skin dry and prevent skin irritation. It absorbs moisture and becomes a gel which eventually crusts over.

How to Use Stomahesive Powder? Use Stomahesive powder to dust onto the skin before placing your ostomy appliance onto your body. It acts to protect the skin by absorbing moisture and extend wear time. Used when peristomal skin is raw and weepy and Stomahesive powder will turn to a gel and slowly dry.

Note: it is not an adhesive. Stomahesive powder and ostomy powders can be used to ''crust.'' The crusting technique, in summary, is the process of applying ostomy powder and then dabbing it or spraying with a skin protective wipe or protective spray.
