These 2" stainless steel ratchet straps are built for strength, durability, and corrosion resistance, making them a reliable choice for both transportation and outdoor use. The rugged polyester webbing is tough enough for demanding jobs yet soft enough to help protect your cargo. With very little stretch and resistance to UV rays and water, these straps are designed for long-lasting performance. The ratcheting mechanism allows you to apply the exact amount of tension needed—something cam straps can’t match. They’re the perfect balance between 1" straps and heavy-duty 4" straps.
These 2" stainless steel tie down straps feature a longer fixed end than most standard straps, positioning the ratchet further from the anchor point for easier handling. A sewn loop next to the ratchet offers a simple way to tuck away excess webbing for a cleaner, safer setup.
The webbing is woven with slightly thicker yarn and more picks per inch than many competitors. Each strap end is heat-sealed to prevent fraying. These details give the straps superior resistance to abrasion, tearing, and cutting, ensuring longer service life under tough conditions.
The Type 304 stainless steel ratchet is designed to resist rust and corrosion, making it ideal for use around water, snow, or moisture. Perfect for tying down jet skis, snowmobiles, boats, or gear exposed to the elements. The long, wide handle with a smooth grip makes tensioning easier and more comfortable.
Vinyl-coated S-hooks are compatible with most anchor points, and the coating helps prevent scratching or damage to your cargo. They’re an economical and easy-to-use option, commonly used for tying down motorcycles, snowmobiles, ATVs, and other smaller vehicles.
All of US Cargo Control's ratchet straps are tagged and stenciled with the working load limit to meet FMCSA and DOT regulations, CVSA and WSTDA guidelines, and North American Cargo Securement standards.
Learn more about proper load handling and securement in the WSTDA safety bulletins.
According to the WSTDA (section 4.6.8): "When using web tie downs with a winch or ratchet, a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 wraps of webbing shall be wound on the winch or ratchet mandrel. Excessive wraps of webbing on the mandrel may reduce the working load limit (WLL) of the web tie down and may interfere with proper operation."
