Black Flower, the current Belgian rare guru band, acclaimed by Giles Peterson and other key figures around the world, has completed their long-awaited third album! The band's soundscapes range from Afro to Ethiopian, psychedelic, and even dub! The band's debut album "Abyssinia Afterlife" (2014) broke the hearts of enthusiasts around the world, and their second album "Artifacts" (2016) took the band's reputation to the core. Their sound has evolved and sharpened over the past three years, making them arguably the best jazz-funk/rare-guru band on the scene today.The band features Nathan Daems (Ragini Trio, Dijf Sanders, Echoes of Zoo) on saxophone, flute, and composers; Simon Segers (MDC III, De Beren Gieren, Stadt) on drums; Jon Birdsong on cornet ( dEUS, Beck, Calexico) on drums, Wouter Haest (Voodoo Boogie) on keyboards, and Filip Vandebril (Lady Linn, The Valerie Solanas) on bass.
