Yet it retains all the beautiful Blackguard era pickup compression and bloom on the notes. This pickup reproduces the original classic Broadcaster character.
JL neck pickup is a lower wound version made for Julian Lage, which replicates the neck pickup in his original 1954 Tele. He is currently using the JL in two of his Nachocaster Teles. The JL has a bit more scooped mids and has pronounced high and low frequencies.
