Why this aircraft matters

B-304D was the very first Airbus A350-900 delivered to China Eastern. China Eastern took delivery in November 2018. This marked the start of their new wide-body fleet era. 

It brought a four-class cabin layout: first, business plus, premium economy, and economy. This gave 288 seats in total. 

The A350-900 introduced new standards in comfort, fuel efficiency, and cabin quality. It carried larger windows, improved air systems, and quieter engines. 

B-304D now flies across China Eastern’s network. It serves both domestic and long-haul international routes.
