About the Album We found, as a family, that when our minds and hearts were focused on the Lord and on the needs of others the songs just flow. We would sit down in the living room and pose a question like...'What are the struggles that people face today, that WE face today as Christians in this world?' The answer from each of us usually turned into a song. The following songs are from our hearts. They are cries of joy, cries for help, encouragement to the weak of heart, and genuine love for our Lord Jesus Christ. Our prayer is that you will be blessed, and that you will see the face of God shining through us and this album. About The Johnson Family A home schooled family of 7, the Johnson kids grew up listening to and singing along with Christian radio daily. Music has always been a part of their lives. They started singing as a family in 2003 and have never been the same! Their youthful energy and enthusiasm is truly contagious. We know that you will be both blessed and edified by their music and testimony. *Richard* The oldest child in a family of six, Richard has always had a love for music. He grew up in a close-knit nurturing church family. He committed his life to Christ at the age of nine and began a journey with his Creator that has taken many unexpected turns over the years. Married at the age of 22, Richard and his bride Kelly set out to raise their family to love and serve the Lord Jesus Christ. Little did they know that a short 6 years later, their world was to be turned upside down. Disfellowshipped by his church family that was founded by his grandfather, Richard began an 18 year pilgrimage as God used loneliness, depression, difficult circumstances, and other people to reshape his view of himself, his family, and his God. During much of the past 18 years, Richards musical gifts and talents sat idle as this birthing and growing process took place. After he surrendered his will completely to Christ, things began to change. His interest in music was rekindled, and in October of 2003, singing together as a family began. *Jennifer* From an early age, it was clear to every one that Jennifer loved to sing. It came naturally to her. At the age of 5, she accepted Christ as her Savior. She began her involvement in children's ministry, teaching at church and in backyard bible clubs when she was 12. Over the years, she continued to develop her musical gifts by singing all the time. Her experimentation with opera, yodeling, gospel, country etc. Drove her family up the wall at times, but they endured in love, recognizing that God had given her unusual talents. She has matured into a gifted and versatile singer who adds depth and complexity to the group. Jennifer is developing her writing skills and has written many outstanding songs and poems. *Erin* Erin's Christian life began when she was 5 years old. As a young teenager, Erin often struggled with the pull of the world, it's influences, and with her desire to be obedient to God. Through the years the Lord led her time and time again to Matthew 6:33 - 'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.' This verse has brought her back to the simple truth that God is and always will be our Provider when we seek to do His will. Now her dreams and aspirations are simple: To live a life completely surrendered to God's will, to use her gifts of writing and music for God's purposes, and to become a godly wife and mother when God brings the right person along. *Amy* At a fairly young age, Amy became involved in children's ministry. She believed that God wanted to use her to reach children, but He had other plans. She went through a period of rebellion in her middle teen years and got into a bit of trouble. But God used those experiences to draw her closer to Him. She has seen that God looks past our failures and will use a life that is submitted to His will.
