Tall Black Guy 、 Ozay Moore
Description:
Instrumental LP of Of Process and Progression, a unique collaboration between Tall Black Guy and Ozay Moore, incorporating elements of hip-hop, jazz, funk, soul and R&B, sampling as well as collaborating with artists such as KUMBAYA, Ohmega Watts, Sean C. Johnson, Jabee, Add-2 & Tony Ozier, Malaya, DSTL, Sareem Poems & Rich Medina, and more to create a sound that is un-skewed and truly what we want. "Stick Em," which samples vocals from the Fat Boys, is the album's signature track. The album also includes #3Har Hanz, which pays homage to the documentary "Style Wars" and the Soulquarians, the bible of hip-hop heads, and "Runnin Away," a flip on Pharcyde's immortal "Runnin," a perfect blend of golden era boom-bap and modern sounds. The result is a timeless and moving blend of golden era boombop and modern sounds.
