The SESTO SENSO 2 is the best stepper motor-based robotic focusing system for your telescope! This highly accurate, vibration-free focusing motor connects easily to the USB port of your EAGLE or Windows® computer, allowing you to electronically control focus while retaining the option for manual adjustment.

If you prefer to focus without a computer, you can use the integrated Virtual HandPad via the built-in WiFi network to connect wirelessly from any smartphone or tablet. Thanks to the Self Centering Clamp (SCC) technology, SESTO SENSO 2 can be installed on most focusers without needing external brackets. The supplied FOCUS Manager software and ASCOM driver facilitate easy configuration of SESTO SENSO 2's many advanced features, achieving precision control down to just 0.7 microns.

Building on the success of the previous generation motor introduced in 2017, the SESTO SENSO 2 combines all the essential components of a motorized focusing system into a compact enclosure (87.5 x 64 x 43mm), with exciting new features:

• USB-C Port: Connect to any standard computer or EAGLE USB port for a reliable, reversible connection that is easier to manage in low light.
• Integrated WiFi: Control your telescope’s focuser from your smartphone or tablet using the Virtual HandPad without needing a computer.
• Self Centering Clamp (SCC): Easily attach to most focusers without external brackets, with improved bushings included for compatibility.
• Dimmable LED Lights: Adjust the brightness or turn off the LED lights on the SESTO SENSO 2 body to reduce light emissions during astrophotography or visual use.
• ARCO Compatibility: Directly connect to the ARCO camera rotator without additional data or power cables.

Compact and Lightweight Design

The SESTO SENSO 2 integrates control electronics into a single compact package, with ports conveniently located on the side. The upper section features dimmable status LEDs that can be turned off for better night-time management. The housing is made from a single block of aluminum, weighing only 380 grams, and includes a robust plastic section for WiFi antenna functionality.

Easy Attachment to Most Focusers

The SESTO SENSO 2 attaches easily to focusers without the need for external brackets. Simply remove the fine and coarse knobs from your focuser to expose the shaft. Designed to fit a 25mm diameter shaft, the SESTO SENSO 2 can be used with most focusers available. Optional adapters are available for larger shaft diameters (33mm and 37mm).
