A regular recipient of numerous art awards, including the Order of the British Empire! Live album by Indian-British musician Nitin Sawhney! Nitin Sawhney is an Indian-British musician who has released 10 studio albums, composed more than 50 film and theater scores, won 30 art awards including the Order of the British Empire, and performed with Sting, Paul McCartney, Hélène Grimaud, Cirque du Soleil, Akram Khan, John Hurt and many others. Nitin Sawhney is a British musician of Indian descent. He has performed with Hélène Grimaud, Cirque du Soleil, Akram Khan, John Hurt, and many others. A total of 10 songs were selected from the three-night show, including three songs from the band's latest album, "Dystopian Dream" (2015), as well as the classic songs "Nadia" and "Riverpulse," which were later covered by Jeff Beck. The band has a total of seven members. The leader, Nitin, switches between keyboards/piano and guitar for each song.In addition, there will be tabla and dholak, Indian percussion instruments, and Arev Davesh singing saregama (floor name) singing; Ashwin Srinivasan on bhansuri (Indian classical flute) and chorus; Eric Appapure on guitar; Ian Burge on cello; and two women with different personalities singers Nicky Wells and Eva Stone. This release, "Live at Ronnie Scotts," runs approximately 48 minutes, and features 10 excellent performances highlighting Nitin's career in front of a group of well-meaning members and audience members. Nitin has performed with Paul McCartney, Sting, Jeff Beck, Ellie Goulding, Annie Lennox, and Joss Stone.
