The debut album by Spanish Latin jazz-funk multi-instrumentalist Alex Melero is released on GUTIFUNK, an interesting rare-groove fusion of funk and rumba produced in Madrid. The album features a deep funk track "Night of the Wolf" by the Al Foste Band, which was performed by Keb Derge, and features Chip Wickham of Lovemonk, Manuel Malou of Los Golfos and Jack Chakataga of Achilifunk Sound System, among others. The DJs on the label include John Cameron's "Swamp Fever," released on the KPM library label; "Caramba, Carambita," a rumba tune by Los Marismenos and a hit for Paco De Lucia; and the Italian library tune "Restless," by I Limited edition of 300 copies, including many DJ-oriented covers such as "Restless" by Gres.
