Taeko Onuki
Description:
Single record (7" vinyl/transparent pink) featuring Taeko Onuki's newly recorded songs "Morning Palette" and "Futari no Hoshi wo Sagasou" on the AB side. This is Taeko Onuki's first new recording since her album "One Fine Day" in 2005. This time, the up-and-coming musician Shohei Amimori was invited as a new arranger. The song "Morning Palette" had already been performed in concert, but this time it was finally recorded. With the rhythm section of Tateo Hayashi and Wataru Iga, the arrangement of the song was completely different from the live performance. It was the quintessential work of "Taeko Onuki with a European sound," with a taste of French pop after a long time. The song "Futari no Hoshi wo Sagaso" is a self-cover recording of a song that Taeko Takenaka provided for Naoto Takenaka's album "Eraserhead" (1996). It is a fantasy-inspired work with a synthesizer sound similar to that of "Peter Rabbit and Me" and "The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Yukihiro Takahashi played the drums. (C)RS
