Its history stretches back more the 6,500 years, where it was ground down into ultramarine, the finest and most expensive pigment, highly valued for its exquisite colour. Lapis is believed to give you strength of mind and body. Lapis is the birthstone of December, it is also the 9th Year Anniversary Stone.
