• 1954 extremely rare buttermilk carton from Joe Louis Milk Company with an image of Louis on each side
• Joe Louis Milk Company was one of a number of failed business ventures from Louis after his career
• Louis fought for 17 years and was World Heavyweight Champion from 1937 to 1949
• Record holder for most opponents beaten for the world heavyweight championship at 22, and most wins in world heavyweight championship fights at 27
• Retires with an overall record of 66-3
• Louis also had an acting career, appearing in six full-length films
• Very good condition; top has been neatly trimmed off and the rest of the carton shows some light but notable surface creasing. Some soiling along the bottom edge as well as on the bottom panel. Inside has been washed carefully with no damage from the previous contents. Carton still holds its shape very well and images of Joe Louis are vibrant and well preserved
