BADBADNOTGOOD is back! The latest CD + T-Shirt set featuring the miraculous sessions with the splendid guests is now available for purchase! Toronto's popular instrumental band Badbadnotgood, loved by artists from Kendrick Lamar, Kaytranada, Thundercat, Tyler the Creator, Frank Ocean to Snoop Dogg and Bootsy Collins, is back with their latest long-awaited album. This is the fifth album in five years, and features the work of female jazz harpist Brandee, who has appeared on albums by Artur Velocai, Kareem Liggins, Terrace Martin, Larage, Moses Sumney, and Thundercat. The album also features a number of guest artists, including jazz harpist Brandy Younger, and a psychedelic jazz track "Signal From The Noise" featuring UK electronic producer Floating Points, who has worked with Pharaoh Saunders for some time. The album features nine tracks that focus on the miracles created by collaboration and improvised live performance.The album was mixed by Russell Elevard, a Grammy-winning engineer who has worked on D'Angelo's immortal masterpiece "Voodoo," Erykah Badu and Common during the Soulquarians period, and more recently on Kamasi Washington and Tom Misch's work. The artwork is by Alaska-Alaska TM, led by Virgil Abloh, creative director of Louis Vuitton.
