Pflueger Akron No.1893 Level-Wind Reel. This Akron dates to the mid 1930s to the 1940s. All functions work well and have been oiled/greased, however this reel still has some minor rust, scratches and some marks. Still a beautiful reel that's been fixed up and is ready to be fished or added to your collection.

The Akron, while offered at a popular price, has many built-in qualities and features usually found only in the more expensive reels. Very compact in size—easy to palm. Handsomely ornamented. 

Refurbished:

This reel is refurbished and here's what's all been done to bring this reel back to some of it's former glory: cleaned, rust lightly removed and polished, oiled, greased and lastly tested. All functions of this reel work well; From it's anti backlash drag to the clicker!
