Nymo thread is often used for bead embroidery. In order of thickness, the options are Size OO, O, B or D. (Nymo thread is an item whose price has been increased due to tariffs.)

Size OO is the thinnest Nymo thread used for the smallest beads such as size 13-15. Each cone has approximately 4850 yards of thread.

Size O is the next thinnest Nymo thread and is used for smaller beads such as size 13, and multiple passes of thread through the beads. Each cone has approximately 2900 yards of thread.

Size B is thicker than size O and thinner than size D. Each cone has approximately 2500 yards of thread. This size is the most common and is often used with size 10 to 13 beads.

Size D is the thickest Nymo thread and is used to provide strength such as when beading into foundation or buckskin. It can be used with size 10 to 12 beads. Each cone has approximately 1590 yards of thread.

Nymo thread is often used in tandem with beeswax to prevent fraying.

Each size is sold by the cone. All of our Nymo thread is bonded.
