Engineered to address the root cause of valvetrain wear and hydraulic lifter malfunction, Tick Fix + Protect™ targets the damaging conditions found in modern engines with stop/start systems, displacement-on-demand, and hybrid technology. Over time, that heat begins to cook the oil in those areas, turning it into carbon, burnt oil and varnish that clog tiny oil passages and prevent lifters from operating smoothly.
