Working Principle

The MDG-5 operates based on light transmission principles. The internal system uses an AC-driven light source to illuminate the X-ray film. As the light passes through, a photodetector captures the transmitted signal. This signal is then converted and processed by a microchip into a DC signal, which is analyzed and displayed as a digital blackness value, enabling quick and accurate film density assessment.
