DESCRIPTION
The Solinst® Model 101D Water Level Draw Down Meter is an essential tool for professionals conducting groundwater monitoring, aquifer testing, and well development. With its versatile design, this meter switches seamlessly between static water level and drawdown measurements, enabling accurate monitoring of falling hydraulic head during pumping or sampling operations.
The durable stainless steel probe is connected to a clearly marked flat tape, making it easy to obtain accurate readings in wells, boreholes, standpipes, and tanks. When the probe’s zero point enters water, the circuit activates a buzzer and light indicator in water level mode. In drawdown mode, the reversed circuit triggers these indicators when the probe is in air.
Designed for rugged field use, the on/off sensitivity control ensures precise signals in both high and low conductivity conditions. Additionally, the meter features a built-in battery test function to ensure reliability during fieldwork. Available in lengths from 100’ to 1,000’ (and metric options up to 150m), the Solinst 101D offers flexibility to suit various project needs.
