This series of eight books, A to H, expands on the standards-based strategies taught in our CARS and STARS Series. Students use independent practice with graphic organisers and writing prompts to apply their understanding of the strategy. Extension activities are given in ever lesson. Teacher-directed introduction and scaffolded models focus students' attention on mastery of the targeted strategy. Each Teacher Guide includes a suggested schedule, eight lessons in Book A (12 lessons in Books B to H), to help you introduce each strategy to the students.
