ABOUT THE ARTISANS
This shawl was handmade in a fair trade cooperative in Vietnam by skilled weavers. The artisans use local Vietnamese silk and the quality of their work is of the highest. There are currently 20 families working in the cooperative, operating 25 looms. They are paid fair wages and have seen their standard of living greatly improve through fair trade practices.
