DESCRIPTION

The Git Rot Kit is a powerful two-part liquid epoxy designed to restore the original strength of wood by penetrating deep into rotted fibers. Unlike traditional fillers, Git Rot works by saturating loose, rotted wood and bonding it back to a solid structure. It’s ideal for repairing structural damage in wood that has been weakened by rot, such as transoms, stringers, and cabin roofs in both fiberglass and wood boats. With a pot life of 30 minutes after mixing, the epoxy cures overnight, leaving a surface that is sandable, paintable, and able to be drilled and screwed.This epoxy is also compatible with fiberglass resins, epoxies, and most sealants, making it a versatile choice for various repair needs. Its unique capillary action allows it to soak deeply into dry wood, ensuring maximum saturation and strength restoration.
