The box is a rugged weatherproof enclosure that is ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications. Constructed from molded fiberglass reinforced polyester, it is well suited for high temperature or corrosive environments. The molded in bosses allow it to be wall mounted as well as on a flat surface. The fully gasketed lid features a stainless steel continuous hinge and stainless steel quick release latches with padlock hasps. The enclosure material is UV stabilized and comes in neutral gray color. This model includes a front mounted aluminum swing plate which is pre-installed Also included is an aluminum back mounting plate and mounting feet which are not installed. The NBG241609-KIT02 is ideal for custom applications which require special modifications to the enclosure and mounting plates. Mounting plates inside the enclosure can be used for mounting a large number of components and devices, allowing maximum equipment capacity. The NBG241609-KIT02 can be customized to include ventilation (passive and powered) and holes for power and cable entry into the enclosure. The contoured body provides an attractive and contemporary appearance. The NBG241609-KIT02 can be used as communications terminal, wireless hub, insulated junction box, industrial controls, instrument housing and housing for electrical controls in wet, dusty and corrosive environments.
