Calling all Motor Speedway fans!

This is an intricate, 4-layer map of Charlotte Motor Speedway. The layers are laser cut from different woods, each selected to add contrast and warmth to the piece. The front title layer is engraved mahogany. The course is engraved with a thin racing stripe and pops out brightly from the background levels. Raised roads and turn numbers are cut from a neutral draftboard. The lower level features paths, buildings, named turns, and other details.

This is an intricate, 4-layer map of the famous Nürburgring Motor Speedway in Germany. Raised rural and town roads are cut from a neutral draftboard. The lower level features topographical contours of the mountain terrain.

The map layers are mounted in a deep 11" x 14" black frame to finish the piece. Layers are coated with stain, varnish, or oil to protect the wood surfaces. Every map is carefully assembled by hand, and every one is unique due to variances in wood grain and finishes. The map pictured is a sample, each map is produced when the order is placed.
