The Legacy Level Grip Fronts, also known as an Outer Rim, are designed to deliver enhanced traction, support, and performance across a variety of track conditions.

This plate features a raised toe insert of 0.050" (1.25 mm), combined with a raised outer rim and concave inner walls to create excellent cupping action. It is especially effective for flat-footed horses, helping reduce shock on turf while allowing for longer, more efficient strides on hard, fast tracks.

Part of our Legacy Series, this shoe is thicker, wider, and stronger than traditional racing plates. The improved tapered sole relief helps reduce sole pressure and minimize bruising, while additional nail holes provide greater flexibility in nailing.

Updated with new tooling in 2025, this plate features a brighter, smoother surface finish along with a more consistent and standardized nail hole pattern for improved accuracy and security.
