In Jurassic Park III, Billy is shown carefully brushing away sediment from a Velociraptor skeleton at the excavation site. During fossilization, the original calcium in bones is gradually replaced by minerals, and uncovering dinosaur fossils requires exceptional patience, precision, and expertise.
