Plum is a dreamy, twisted, psychedelic experimental pop band from Birmingham, U.K. Since their debut EP "Gush" in 1992, Plum has been making their own presence felt with their mysterious worldview and experimental sound. It has been 11 years since the release of "The Moving Frontier" in 2007, and the band's new album "Across the Meridian" was recorded at Fawell Studios in Wales, UK, and features elements of a wide range of genres including 30's jazz, pop, electronica, and post-punk. The recording took place at Fawell Studios in Wales and in their hometown of Birmingham. Plum has gone through many changes in the past, including band member turnover and advances in technology, but this album is truly a masterpiece that shows the band's new evolution without losing the originality that they have cultivated over the years!
