Even half a century after their premieres, these masterpieces still boast overwhelming originality and sonic experience, and are brilliant masterpieces in the history of percussion art. Shinichi Ueno, who learned his musical views from Strasbourg Percussion, Silvio Garda, and other performers who came before him, as well as from the composer himself, formed himself as a percussionist with the impact of Xenakis' works.
