Sometime after moving to K mount, Asahi decided to go all-in on Pentax branding and decided that the esteemed "Takumar" brand was gonna be a budget brand now. Why? Not sure. But here we are: a Takumar Bayonet 80-200mm f4.5 lens, made by Asahi for Pentax cameras, with old-school Takumar branding. This would have been a more basic version of the Pentax-branded lenses of the day, though it's still nicely made, and in excellent condition, with clean glass and good function.
