Bicep is the London-based unit of Matt McBriar and Andy Ferguson, originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland, who started their legendary blog ''FeelMyBicep'' in 2008, introducing the unknown sources of italo-disco, house and disco. In 2017, his self-titled debut album Bicep, released on Ninja Tune, debuted in the top 20 in the UK charts, graced the cover of mixmag, and was featured on the magazine's cover. The album was featured on the cover of mixmag and was named "Album of the Year" by the magazine, catapulting the band to the top of the charts. Their latest album, "Isles", is the latest release from the band that has been garnering the most attention in the U.K., and has sold out shows for 10,000 people in the U.K.Two years in the making, "Isles" evolved expressively from their debut, "Bicep," and explored more deeply the sounds, experiences, and emotions that have influenced their own lives and musical endeavors from their youth in Belfast to their move to London 10 years ago. The breadth of music they have been exposed to forms the extremely diverse sound of the album.
