These coconut wax blend candles were such a hit at Jamballah NW, a festival where I vended, danced, and learned belly dance with the pros. 

These are 7 ounce tins that burn up to 30 hours (in up to 4 hour segments per burn) if well cared for - always observe candle safety and monitor anything burning in your space.

I chose to use some of our favorite rhythms and songs to dance to, and a beautiful rounded tin.

The scents are: 

Alf Layla Wa Layla (1,001 Nights):  this classic reflects the power of story, feminine badassery (all hail, Scheherazade) and a bangin’ cliffhanger. Interpreted by us as a night blooming, Bewitched Orchid. (Pink Tin)

Ayoub, earthy and grounding, we honor a rhythm that invites trance like transcendence. We used Eucalyptus, mint, and citrus to invite a clean energy to our space. (Sage tin)

Baladi. (my country): A dance of the people, ranging from flirtatious to emotional. Our interpretation is with Tobacco flower and Oud - remniscient of a lingering visit improved with stories and dance. (Bestseller at Jamballah!) Black tin

Chiftetelli: We love this sensual beat and wanted to reflect the feeling of a grounded undulation, Persephone descending amidst Oakmoss and Amber.  Pink tin.

Fallahi: Fun and bright, we watched the Reda Troupe folkloric dances for inspiration and selected a scent of our community in the Pacific Northwest, Redwoods, Birch, and Cedar.  Black tin.

Maksum: What can we say except dum tek, dum dum tek... we imagined a dramatic yet spa like scent accompanied by a super shiny hip scarf, with Sea Salt and Orchid. Pink tin.

Malfuf: The rolling, traveling rhythm like water. We blended Sea Salt, Citrus and Herbs to honor the current we travel along to this dance. Sage tin.

Saidi: Folksy and fun and just makes us wanna grab a cane! This bright beat made Citrus and the air above a fresh, lush valley a natural pairing.   (Bestseller at Jamballah!) Pink tin.
