Amethyst is considered to help one attain wisdom by strengthening the connection to our spiritual Self and bringing back its insight into clear conscious thought. It is healing to the nervous system. It’s said to facilitate the ability to be fair and neutral, and to promote internal cooperation between the many parts of ourselves. It has a history of use for supporting freedom from addiction, and it’s also thought to help businesses prosper. Some sources say amethyst helps us release old attachments, and that it liberates the voice -- helping one to speak or sing more freely.

We love these double-ended points for helping to direct energy, to work as an "antenna" bringing universal energy to a certain area, or to promote a transfer (such as in a ritual to reclaim one's power or give back "baggage" to another). They are wonderfully clear and translucent, with some having interesting inclusions. As a form of quartz, amethyst has similar clarifying, amplifying, and energizing properties.

Please note: Crystals are natural products of the Earth. As such, they vary. Some may have internal cracks, small chips, hazy areas, varying colors, "phantom" shapes inside, rainbows (diffraction), and other variations. We have personally chosen and examined every one, and found them all to meet our high personal standards. Often, we find the qualities that would be considered "imperfections" from the standpoint of a jeweler to be exactly what makes a certain crystal especially unique and potent. We don't have the ability to allow you to choose a particular crystal, but offer these photos as representative sample of the batch we have, and we trust that you'll get the crystal that's right for you.
