These 2" x 30’ reverse-action ratchet straps make load securement safer, easier, and more efficient. Unlike standard ratchets, this ergonomic design tightens as you pull the handle down—letting you use your arms and body weight instead of straining your back, neck, and shoulders by pushing up. The result is better posture, reduced risk of injury, and more stable footing, especially in icy or wet conditions.
The polyester webbing is built stronger than many competitors, using slightly thicker yarn and more picks per inch for added durability. Each strap end is heat-sealed to prevent fraying, offering superior resistance to abrasion, tearing, and cutting. This construction extends the lifespan of your ratchet straps under heavy use.
Flat hooks are the right choice when you need to connect to rub rails or under the edge of a truck or trailer. With a wide contact surface, they distribute tie down force more evenly across the anchor point. Each hook includes a built-in defender to reduce wear on the webbing and extend strap life, making them a dependable option for heavy loads.
All of US Cargo Control's ratchet straps are tagged and stenciled with the working load limit to meet FMCSA and DOT regulations, CVSA and WSTDA guidelines, and North American Cargo Securement standards.
Learn more about proper load handling and securement in the WSTDA safety bulletins.
According to the WSTDA (section 4.6.8): "When using web tie downs with a winch or ratchet, a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 wraps of webbing shall be wound on the winch or ratchet mandrel. Excessive wraps of webbing on the mandrel may reduce the working load limit (WLL) of the web tie down and may interfere with proper operation."
