Description:
The 59th drama, "Kirin ga Kuru," is the first full 4K filming of the "Warring States Period" and a new interpretation of the heroes of the period. The Kirin, a sacred beast that always appears when a king is conducting benevolent politics. Who will rebuild the devastated world after the Onin War and free the people from suffering? When will the Kirin come? For the first time in a Taiga drama series, Akechi Mitsuhide will play the leading role, shedding light on his mysterious first half of his life and depicting the fate of the heroes of the Warring States period, centering on his life. The music is by John Gramm, a veteran composer who weaves a modern Hollywood sound and is highly respected in the Hollywood film music industry. The third volume features music selected mainly for the climax of Mitsuhide's journey to Honnoji, and includes "Daika Kiko III" by ukulele legend Jake Shimabukuro, as well as "Daika Kiko IV" by passionate violinist Ikuko Kawai. Ikuko Kawai also participates in one of the songs in the play, beautifully and fleetingly playing the emotions of the people living in the Warring States Period.
