The battleship saw action again during the Korean War and was modernized in the mid-1980s to include new radar systems and missile capabilities. She made history once more during Operation Desert Storm by firing Tomahawk missiles and her main armament at Iraqi targets. Decommissioned in March 1992, the Missouri now serves as a museum ship in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
