Installation
We will provide you riv-nuts and bolts so you can mount them directly under your OEM GTI skirts. Riv-nuts are threaded inserts that require special pliers to install them. Contact us if you need more information about this.

You could also install with self tapping screws that we will provide in the kit. However we recommend the riv-nut installation.

Why installing a splitter?
Side splitters aren’t only used for their nice aggressive look they gave to your car. They are generally used for track racing to increase handling and stability. At high speed, the air is an important factor in driving. Air that goes under the car will lift the vehicle, which decreases traction. Side splitters will deflect air direction and will help to add positive downforce.

Also, the side splitter is a good way to protect your pricey side skirts. As well it’s known to make a lower effect on the side of your vehicle.
