This beautiful traditional handwoven Sambalpuri ikat cotton saree produced by the weavers of Sambalpur, Odisha. Sambalpuri sarees are known for their incorporation of traditional motifs. Tie and dye technique used to design the motifs on the saree.This black and maroon colour handloom saree shows the traditional craftsmanship of 'Bandhakala'. Ikat motifs woven on the body with traditional rudraksha motifs woven on the border by dobby shedding device. Beautiful ikat motifs have been woven on the pallu with multiple horizontal stripes. Saree comes attached with a maroon colour blouse piece.
