‘Sandbar’ stole, part of our ‘Waves’ collection is handwoven in hand spun cotton and hand dyed in natural dyes by artisans of Bengal. Inspired by the soulful stillness of the ocean and the depths of its waters, the stole, emulates a vision of sand ridges among partially rising waves through an intricate play of hand-woven extra weft motifs that move through curved lines and break into stillness. Karomi's collection of handwoven stoles displays a piece of textile art waiting to be donned. Woven by skilled Jamdani weavers, each warp is handpicked by the artisan to bring every motif to life, thereby upholding the authenticity of the craft and epitomising sustainability.
