Koos, who sadly has just passed away this year, was especially known for the incorporation of collage into his work. His work always was started from the fabrics he chose and loved and this love of textiles runs strongly through his pieces, especially the more daring designs as the fabulous jumpsuit that we have here. This amazing jumpsuit typifies the movement towards clothes that were easy to wear and still had a sportswear meets runway feel to them. It is made of a slinky silk satin in two tones with his signature collage applied boldly to the front. Being a jumpsuit makes it so easy to wear! You just slip it on, add shoes and accessories, and go. I love the heavily collaged bibbed effect front that sits on either side of the button up top and the sexy of both the top portion and pant, especially in that light and fabulous feeling fabric. Unlined. It slips on and buttons at the front with a tie running through the waist so you can leave it loose or cinch for more shape. There is a teeny watermark on the bodice that may come out with an additional cleaning (supersize the close up of the bodice to see - it has been priced to accommodate). Hidden side pockets on each hip. Tagged an 8 but please check listed measurements.
