Die Baureihe V 188 der Deutschen Bundesbahn, vormals Wehrmachtslokomotive D 311, ab 1968 DB Baureihe 288 war eine Diesellokomotive, die aus zwei fest zusammengekuppelten Einheiten a und b bestand, was ihr den Spitznamen Doppeltes Lottchen einbrachte. Die Führerstände befanden sich jeweils an den äußeren Enden dieser Zusammenstellung. Nach dem zweiten Weltkrieg ließ die Deutsche Bundesbahn zwei Exemplare der V 188, später als BR 288 bezeichnet, unter Nutzung eines dritten als Ersatzteilspender herrichten und verwendete sie bis zur ihrer Ausmusterung 1971 im Güterzugdienst. Auch als Shorty in Spur Z zeigt sich das "doppelte Lottchen" von einer schönen Seite. Das Modell ist mit einem 3 D-Drucker erstellt und man kann die Druckmuster erkennen. Wenn Sie das Gehäuse farbig gestalten wollen, geht dies sehr gut mit Acrylfarbe, aqua-color, oder email color.
