Every 100 years, witches and wizards come together to compete for the title of Master of the Witch's Stone. Whoever holds the Witch's Stone will be rewarded with prestige and honor, not to mention the stone's immense powers. But who will be the best magician this time?

In Witchstone you have to collect points by performing actions. These actions come in different types. For example, you have actions to connect locations on the playing field with energy lines, actions to deploy your personal witch army at the same locations and actions to collect crystals for bonuses.

All these different actions are initiated in the same way. You do this by placing a tile with action symbols on a cauldron tableau. If your current tile with its action symbols connects to previously placed tiles with the same symbols, the relevant action is triggered multiple times. By playing smart you can cause enormous chain reactions of magic!
