Moroccan Boujaad vintage rug

Handmade Moroccan rug - Sand, Light Brown, Golden & cream tones.

In collaboration with our wonderful local seller from Byron Bay, we’re launching five beautiful rugs with a purpose far greater than décor. Every dollar of profit that our seller makes from these rugs will be donated to support women in Uganda who have endured domestic violence and modern slavery. 

These funds provide safe shelter, food, and the essentials needed to help them rebuild their lives with strength and dignity. By welcoming one of these rugs into your home, you’re directly contributing to a brighter, safer future for women in need.

Our Boujaad rugs are sourced from the Haouz region in the Middle Atlas Mountains and date back from the 1970’s, unless stated otherwise. Made with soft wool and natural dyes, their warm hues and traditional motifs are a defining feature of these rugs.

Each rug is unique and one-of-a-kind. All rugs are cleaned on arrival. These rugs are vintage and some will show varying signs of repair as outlined in their description.

Care instructions for Moroccan Rugs:
Spot clean with a slightly damp cloth. Do not machine wash. Please note that some of our vintage rugs can shed natural fibres due to their age, we recommend that they are vacuumed occasionally and are taken outside for a good shake to reduce this. Can be air-dried in direct sunlight. Dry clean by an accredited Moroccan rug or vintage rug cleaner.
